The work was painted for Zalikierdo Drom / Interrupted Road (2014) exhibition about the mass extermination of the Roma people during the Second World War. Picture was based on Documentary photography presents Eva Justin during her pseudo-scientific anthropological studies on the Roma woman. Her research concentrated, among other, on comparing the colour of skin, eyes, hair, the size and structure of bones. Justin was responsible for death of hundreds of the Roma people. She was never tried for her deeds during the war and she continued her ͞scientific͟ work in Frankfurt on the Main until she died in 1966.
