In the course of the series of readings ‘When the sun goes down to rest, seize the last ray’ Luminiţa Mihai Cioabă presented her poetry collection O angluno la phuveako (Earth’s Root), which had just been recently published. She started her reading with ‘Destino’ (‘Fate’).
The poems, which were written in Romani and Romanian, were translated into German and English for this volume. The German translations were read on this occasion by the Austrian actor Florentin Groll.
