Mihai Lukacs (b. 1980) is a playwright, actor and writer. He is the author of numerous plays including Queercore (2012, Bucharest), PRIMVS (2014, Hannover), Public Humiliation # 1-3 (2013, Vienna) as well as Sara Kali – The Dark Madonna (2014, Vienna), Gadjo Dildo (2015, Bucharest), Albastru / Portocaliu (2017, Bucharest) and Cine a omorât-o pe Szomna Grancsa? (2017, Bucharest). He received his doctorate in gender studies at the Central European University of Budapest with a thesis on Stanislavski, Meyerhold, Artaud and their role in male hysteria in the history of modernist cinema.
