MA, Romani studies specialist, Brno (Czech Republic), studied Romani studies at the Indology Institute of the Philosophy Faculty of Charles University in Prague and wrote her undergraduate dissertation on the Second World War as remembered by Romani contemporary witnesses (2003). From 2001 to 2003 she was active in assisting Romani victims gain compensation; during that work, she collected testimony by Romani survivors from Slovakia. She co-published Vzpomínky Romů na válku a život po válce (‘Memories of Roma about the war and life during the war’) in 2005 and worked on the methodology handbook Jak vyučovat o genocidě Romů za druhé světové války (‘How to teach about the genocide of Roma in the Second World War’), published in 2009. From 2005 to 2008 she was Romani studies specialist and editor of the newsletter of the Museum of Romani Culture in Brno, where she also worked on exhibitions and various publications. Since 2014 she has been head of the specialist department and deputy director of the museum.
