Vintage tinplate toy flamenco tambourine made by the well-known company Chad Valley.
This circular tambourinet dates from around the 1950s or 60s.
and measures 16.5cm diameter by 4cm deep.
It has a graphically stylised illustrated scene of flamenco dancers on the front and a series of similar illutsrations of dancers and musicians around the rim.
There are three pairs of cymbols made of gilded metal around the perimeter. These show signs of age as the gilding is a little rubbed.
