ternYpe - International Roma Youth Network was founded as an informal network in January 2010 by different Roma youth organizations from Albania, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Slovakia, Spain and Poland. It formally registered as an international organization in 2014 in Belgium. TernYpe’s mission is to create spaces for young people to become active citizens through empowerment, mobilisation, self-organisation and participation. TernYpe believes in the common efforts by creating trust, and mutual respect between Roma and non-Roma youth. Currently, ternYpe brings together youth and youth organizations from Albania, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Macedonia and Romania. ternYpe is one of the main stakeholders of the Council of Europe Roma Youth Action Plan.
