Sydnee Wagner is a Roma poet and Ph.D. Candidate studying early modern English literature and culture at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Her dissertation uses critical race theory, queer theory, affect theory and biopolitics to focus on the construction of Britain’s white national project through cultural representations of Romani people. When she is not busy with academic projects, she is also a published poet, with work featured in Quail Bell Magazine, Drunken Boat Journal and Bettering American Poetry 2015.
