Miroslav Rác is a Romani composer and pianist living and working in Slovakia. Born in Levice in 1986, he developed a passion for music at an early age. At thirteen, he started playing the piano, which he later studied at the Music Conservatory in Topoľčany.

He is mostly known for his work in the field of Romani hip-hop, which he performs under the stage name ‘BG’. His portfolio, however, also includes classical music. Rác has composed a piano cycle dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust, in which some of his family members were victimised.

He has performed Holocaust remembrance concerts, in addition to releasing a video using images from one of his visits to the Auschwitz concentration camp. Rác is currently working on his debut CD.
