Dr Julia Blandfort completed her PhD in French Literature and Cultural Studies on the subject of Romani Literature in France at the University of Regensburg. She published a monograph entitled Die Literatur der Roma Frankreichs (Berlin: de Gruyter, 2015). The study focuses on the construction of diasporic identity, memory and Romani orality. Her research interests lie in the perception of racism in an intercultural context and in minority literatures with a special focus on Romani Literatures.
