Eriona Cami is a film director from Albania. She has a Master’s Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law at the European University of Tirana and a Bachelor’s Degree in Directing from the Academy of Film and Multimedia Marubi. Elton Baxhaku is a cinematographer, director and editor from Albania. He received a BA degree in Political Science from the European University of Tirana and a BA degree in Directing from the Academy of Film and Multimedia Marubi. Cami and Baxhaku work together on short films and short documentaries frequently. Their primary concerns in filmmaking are political questions, social struggles and human rights issues in Albania in their own immediate environment and beyond. They co-directed the 2014 documentary film »SkaNdal«, which is the first feature-length documentary about the LGBT movement in Albania, and the 2016 documentary »Selita«, which tackles legal issues connected to housing by following activists and Roma residents trying to stop the destruction of their neighbourhood in Tirana.
